I’M LEANING YOUR WAY

While at the grocery store shopping for fruit to use in a still life, I spotted these beautiful pears. I was attracted to their lovely yellow-green color, accented by an amazing blush of orange and pink. When I actually set them up on my still life “stage,” they leaned toward each other. Right away I imagined them as individual beings engaged in a conversation. The title suggested itself immediately, and I began to paint.
