Kiwis are truly amazing! On the outside they are drab, brown little fuzz balls. But on the inside they are juicy, succulent and gorgeous! Who knew? The contrasting textures make them very fun to paint. SOLD
Welcome, fellow artists and collectors. I look forward to your comments and will always respond as soon as possible.
ABOUT MY WORK
Although I've had a life-long, deep love of art, I am mostly self-taught. I picked up what I could, when I could from books, an occasional workshop and miles and miles of brush time. I've spent most of my art career as a freelance illustrator, painting in watercolor. Recently I have returned to fine art and oils.
Although I paint six days a week, my very detailed style and natural rhythm just don't result in a huge output. So, I paint small format, original works in oil at my own pace. I generally paint on Belgian Linen, mounted on Baltic Birch board, although I do like to experiment with other substrates. All materials are archival.
I auction my paintings on eBay and sell directly to collectors. To purchase a painting, just click on the link below each picture to go to my Retro Deluxe store on Ruby Lane. There you will also find a fabulous collection of vintage costume jewelry offered by my husband, Huff, and me.

Thank you for your interest in my work and please feel free to contact me at anytime about anything.
I am a working artist living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
I have been a professional artist for over twenty-five years, working as a freelance illustrator and fine artist. I work in both watercolor and oils.
My special focus is on still life. I love to combine everyday objects - often vintage - with fruits, flowers and vegetables to showcase the beauty found in the ordinary and familiar. I also spend a lot of time out in nature and love to paint flowers and birds.
I do accept commissions. Please contact me for particulars.
