ME AND MY SHADOW
I saw this sweet, little dahlia bud poking through and casting shadows on an old white, picket fence and just had to paint it! In fact, this is the first in a series of flowers and old fences that I am very excited about painting. Seeing a new, fresh-this-year flower sharing the same space with a decades-old fence suggests such a wonderful feeling of timelessness. Enjoy.
